Since 1940, the County Engineers Association of Ohio has worked to unify its members in providing the highest quality transportation, drainage, surveying and land record keeping services. From the safe and efficient movement of people, goods and services to continuing land development needs, CEAO strives to construct solutions for many challenges to Ohio's local infrastructure. Ohio County Engineers are responsible for 26,081 bridges and 28,970 miles of urban and rural roadways that are vital to the combined growth of jobs and prosperity in the state of Ohio.

Super Load Transport for Intel Plant in New Albany Delayed for One Week
COLUMBUS, Ohio — It takes a lot of resources to create an Intel chip manufacturing plant, a lot of big resources to be specific.
The ninth of almost two dozen super loads headed to New Albany, the site of the new plant, has been delayed a week, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced in a press release.

New Section of Olentangy Trail Could Take a Year or More to Finish Construction
Columbus wants to spend $10 million to connect two sections of the Olentangy Trail in Clintonville.
The project would create bridges and a boardwalk across the Olentangy River at two points, diverting the path off of the roads it currently runs on in that span. Columbus City Council has approved the funding for the project with 60% being covered by state and federal grants.

Governor DeWine Announces $1.7M in H2Ohio Grants for Road Salt Management
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio EPA Thursday announced $1.7 million in grants for more than 30 municipalities and counties as part of the H2Ohio Rivers Program. The grants are the first to be awarded under the new H2Ohio Rivers Chloride Reduction Grant program.
